Audrey has a new crush! The new 2012 Beetle…in red. Seriously folks, how cute would these two look together? I mean, it’s like a match made in heaven. And, the new 2012 actually has a trunk that will, ya know, fit things. Not that I would EVER trade Audrey in…but there’s a dream of being able to fit a suitcase through the trunk opening that will never be met by Audrey (though she delivers on so many other dreams, I can’t fault her).
Audrey hasn’t had too many adventures lately (which is probably why she scraped that pole yesterday…teaches me to be more exciting!)
So instead of relying on her boring, workaholic owner to show her around, she’s noticing the little things, like this wonderful sign on the building next Dara’s hair salon.
Audrey drove al and I to orange county to celebrate lis’ 30th. Beautiful shot of the pool at night…
OMG!
Audrey just saw her long lost twin on Lincoln Blvd. She tried desperately to get her twin’s attention but to no avail. Oh well, just knowing she’s out there, driving the same streets is enough of a comfort for her.
Audrey went to new parts of la last night - koreatown and downtown. She’s such an adventurer!
In koreatown we met up with an awesome group of people for a private and amazing dinner from RnDtable. Ah-mazing! Too bad Audrey couldn’t taste it…
Then we went to Cole’s for drinks. Cute bar, phenomenal bartender, delicious drinks.
Overall a fantastic end to a pretty blah weekend!
Audreys first parking ticket
Audrey got her first parking ticket last night. She apparently can’t tell the difference between am and pm on signs. All Braun, no brains that one - but she looked damn stately despite the envelope on her windshield!
(note how I blame an inanimate object for this.)
